Tour Details

Goa is a state in western India with coastlines stretching along the Arabian Sea. Its long history as a Portuguese colony prior to 1961 is evident in its preserved 17th-century churches and the area’s tropical spice plantations. Goa is also known for its beaches, ranging from popular stretches at Baga and Palolem to those in laid-back fishing villages such as Agonda.

Day 1GOA - Tour Bigins..

Arrival in Goa Airport / Railway station. Transfer to hotel in North/South Goa. The rest of the day is yours to do as you please. De-stress at the sauna or the steam, take a walk down the beach or just chill out at one of the numerous beach-side restaurants & pubs. Overnight stay in Goa.

Day 2After breakfast leave for North Goa sightseeing tour

This tour takes you to visit one of the most significant temples of this land of churches and temples – Saptakoteshwar temple at Narva. The deity of Lord Saptakoteshwar was hidden and buried and spirited away whenever Goa was under attack. One could say Lord Saptakoteshwar’s fortunes rose and fell with those of Goa. This temple was the final shrine built for the deity which has been worshipped for more than a thousand years by Goans and the crumbling temple was renovated by none other than Maharaj Chhatrapati Shivaji himself in 1688. Next comes the exquisite Mayem Lake which nestles sparkling silver among low forested hills. The tour halts for lunch here. Then on via Mapusa town to beaches of Vagator, Anjuna, Calangute, Fort Aguada and a final stop at the Panjim Handicrafts Emporium. Overnight stay in Goa.

Day 3After breakfast leave for South Goa sightseeing tour

The tour takes you to the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral, WAX WORLD MUSEUM and the Museum of Christian Art. The tour continues to the temples of Shri Manguesh at Priol and Shri Shantadurga at Kavlem, Ancestral Goa at Loutolim, (lunch halt) Margao/ Colva Beach, Dona Paula Bay and Miramar Beach. Overnight stay in Goa.

Day 04After breakfast leave for Spice Plantation & Shree Mahadev Temple tour

After breakfast at the hotel depart at 9.15 a.m. to visit an exotic tropical spice plantation to an inside look at the fascinating world of spices, fruit, exotic trees and medicinal herbs. After a guided walk through the plantation enjoy an authentic Goan lunch. After lunch visit the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary and thrill to the sight of wild animals like bison, panthers, wild boars, snakes etc, observe beautiful birds like the ruby throated yellow bulbul which is the state bird, kingfishers and others. Also enjoy elephant rides. Later drive deep down Goa’s hinterland to visit Shree Mahadev temple at Tambdi Surla, the only living monument of Kadamba Yadava architecture in Goa, dating back to the 13th century, constructed entirely of basalt stone, strong sturdy and reeking of history. Overnight stay in Goa.

Day 05GOA - Tour Concludes

This is your last day here, so make the most of it. After breakfast, take a long and final walk around the golden sands of Mobor. You will be dropped to the airport/railway station.
